The Global Health Online Directory is a dynamic searchable index of current
projects and programs involving Columbia University faculty, staff, and
students who contribute expertise in education, research, and treatment
relating to worldwide public health. This site is intended to stimulate
awareness, communication, and collaboration internally as well as beyond the
Columbia community by connecting visitors to global-health resources at the
university, including project leaders, current research, academic programs,
campus events, and fieldwork opportunities around the world.
Easily searchable by location, subject, project leader, program type, or funding source, this directory
features programs initiated by a wide array of Columbia's schools,
institutes, and departments from multiple disciplines, including medicine,
public health, journalism, international affairs, and more. It provides
detailed information on these global health endeavors—from program
descriptions and project leaders' contact information to links to related
programs and departments' Web sites.
The directory will be updated regularly and will also grow with submissions
from the Columbia community. If you are participating in a project that is
not listed, please tell us about it.
This site will feature the latest global-health projects at the university
as well as news stories from around the world. An updated calendar of
global-health events will highlight conferences, speakers, workshops, and
seminars taking place on campus.
We welcome your feedback.
